Preparation
- Gather and prep ingredients by mincing the garlic and measuring honey and soy sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and garlic to create the glaze.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until the skin becomes crispy.
- Flip the salmon, pour the honey garlic glaze over the top, and cook for another 3–4 minutes until the glaze thickens.
Serving
- Plate the salmon, drizzle with any remaining glaze, and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Ensure the pan is hot before adding the salmon to achieve a nice crispy skin. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey based on your taste.
