  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, onion soup mix, and chicken broth until smooth.
Cooking
  1. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken, season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook on low for 6–8 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
Finishing
  1. Shred the chicken into the gravy, stir to combine, and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or chopped onions to the soup mixture. If you like a thicker gravy, mix a little cornstarch with water and add it during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Feel free to add carrots or potatoes for a more complete meal.
