- In a bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, cheese, egg, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper, and cooled onions; mix well.
Baking
- Form the mixture into a loaf and place it on a lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 50–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Serving
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing to lock in the juices.
