Cook Beef & Vegetables
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant.
Build Sauce & Cook Pasta
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil, then add the uncooked pasta. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the pasta is tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add Cheese & Serve
- Stir in ricotta cheese until melted and creamy. Serve hot, topped with shredded mozzarella and fresh basil for garnish.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace the ground beef with lentils or your favorite meat substitute. Feel free to add veggies like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrients. Adjust the spices according to taste.
