Preparation
- Heat filtered water to about 110°F (43°C) and pour into a glass or ceramic mug. Avoid plastic.
- Add 2 tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and stir well. Shake the vinegar bottle beforehand.
Mixing
- Stir in ground cinnamon, and if desired, add ground ginger and a pinch of cayenne. Whisk thoroughly.
Serving
- Add fresh lemon juice and stir in raw honey until fully dissolved. Let sit for 1-2 minutes for flavors to meld. Enjoy warm or over ice with a lemon slice or mint sprig.

Variations include substituting honey for maple syrup for a vegan option, using turmeric instead of cinnamon for anti-inflammatory benefits, or enhancing the drink with fresh mint.
