  • 3-4 lbs beef chuck roast Use a quality roast for the best flavor.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 cup beef broth Add more if needed for moisture.
  • 8-10 pepperoncini peppers Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 1/2 cup butter Cut into small pieces for even melting.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the beef roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix evenly over the top.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and add the pepperoncini peppers.
Cooking
  1. Cut the butter into pieces and place them on top of the roast.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
Serving
  1. Shred the beef with two forks and serve with the flavorful au jus from the crockpot.
  2. Enjoy it over rice, egg noodles, or on sandwich rolls accompanied by mashed potatoes or vegetables.

Notes

For a one-pot meal, add carrots and potatoes to the crockpot before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months. For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or onions.
